The Library offers both traditional library facilities and a range of virtual and specialized electronic services to both members of the staff and students. The library is open on all week days including Sundays supporting students and researchers in the area of Maritime Science, Marine Engineering, Logistics and Transportation, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Sciences, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Manufacturing and in a host of other subjects. The library owns a complete collection of videos from VIDEOTEL on Engineering, Navigation, Safety and Survival in addition to Government publications on shipping such as journals, newsletters and periodicals that are available.

Inter library loan service is also available for members of the staff and students of CINEC. This service gives access to materials of other libraries which are not found in the CINEC library.

The library has direct access to Internet , E mail and its own database services are available on a dedicated PC for public access. Members are welcome to make use of these services . There are two professionally qualified librarians who are always ready to offer assistance to users.
