Pearson BTEC HND – Construction and the Built Environment

Civil Engineering includes the planning, design, construction, maintenance, and operation of the infrastructure that surrounds us and it is the underpinning of society. Infrastructure includes roads, airports, railroads, buildings, bridges, water and wastewater treatment plants, sewers, drainage, flood control, water supply, landfills, and many other facilities.

Pearson BTEC HND in Construction and the Built Environment is designed to meet most of the industrial requirements and to satisfy the entry requirements to the third year of engineering degree programmes in most universities worldwide.
All the units in the programme are evaluated through continuous assessments.

The programme is balanced with 6 months of industrial training, after completion of 18 months’ academic work.
