CINEC Campus Receives Membership of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU)

CINEC Campus is extremely proud to have achieved yet another accolade in its recognition process by being accepted as a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities. Having achieved the prestigious recognition of being a Non State Sector Degree Awarding Institution, achieving this recognition as a Member of the ACU certainly supplements and acknowledges the approvals from the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) & the University Grants Commission.

The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) is the world’s first and oldest international university network, established in 1913. The ACU has over 500 member institutions in 40 countries across the Commonwealth. The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) is a professional association for those working in higher education across the Commonwealth, providing avenues for collaboration and cooperation between our members. ACU membership is open to institutions of higher education accredited by their respective national accreditation boards, in any of the 54 member states of the Commonwealth of Nations.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) of Sri Lanka recognizes foreign Universities and Higher Educational Institutes that are listed in the following Publication:

  1. Commonwealth Universities Yearbook by the Association of Commonwealth Universities
  2. International Handbook of Universities published by International Association of Universities

The above two publications are authentic sources of information on Universities and Higher Educational Institutes in different countries.
