Basic Training for Oil and Chemical Tanker Cargo Operations

This course provides training for participants to be duly qualified under the STCW Section A–V/1-1 and for the issue of a Certificate of Training in “Basic Training for Oil and Chemical Tanker Cargo Operations” in accordance with Regulation V/1-1 para 1 of the STCW 1978, as amended.

Participants successfully completing this course will acquire the necessary knowledge, understanding and proficiency to be eligible to serve on board Oil and Chemical Tankers.

Course Intake Limitations

Maximum 20 students per course.

Faculty

All training and instructions will be delivered by properly qualified lecturers and instructors who have the qualifications as specified in MSN 25/2016 issued by the Director General of Merchant Shipping, Merchant Shipping Secretariat, Sri Lanka.
