Department of Civil Engineering

The Department of Civil Engineering is a dedicated and specialized academic department that focuses on providing high-quality education and training to aspiring Civil Engineers. The department offers a wide range of courses and programs, including undergraduate degrees such as the BSc (Hons) in Engineering in Civil Engineering (Approved by the MoHE), MEng/BEng (Hons) in Civil & Construction Engineering in collaboration with the University of Wolverhampton, UK and HND in Construction & Built Environment (Civil Engineering) of Pearson, UK.  

Apart from offering these academic programs, the department also actively conducts research in various areas of Civil Engineering, such as structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, and environmental engineering. The outcomes of such research are disseminated in appropriate forums to promote the advancement of the field.  

The Civil Engineering department is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including well-equipped laboratories and classrooms, and a team of experienced and highly qualified faculty members.
