INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC) | FoHS
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the Faculty of Health Sciences was established in 2023 to ensure the continuous enhancement of academic standards, research quality and administrative efficiency. It serves as the key body for planning, monitoring, and evaluating quality assurance and enhancement activities in alignment with institutional and national quality frameworks.
Objectives of the IQAC
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the Faculty of Health Sciences shall aim to:
- Design and implement effective mechanisms and procedures to enhance the quality of academic, research, administrative, and support services.
- Coordinate with the Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) to ensure alignment of faculty-level quality enhancement activities with institutional and national standards.
- Continuously monitor and assess academic programs, research activities, administrative processes, and student support services, providing actionable feedback for enhancement.
- Recommend and implement policies, guidelines, and best practices to foster continuous improvement and ensure excellence in teaching, learning, research, and governance.

Dean’s Message
It gives me great pleasure to extend my wholehearted support to the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the Faculty of Health Sciences. In today’s dynamic higher education landscape, quality assurance is not merely a regulatory requirement but a continuous commitment to excellence in teaching, learning, research, and service. The IQAC serves as the driving force behind our efforts to uphold academic standards, foster innovation, and promote a culture of self-evaluation and continuous improvement. Through its initiatives, the Cell ensures that our programmes remain relevant, our assessments remain fair and transparent, and our graduates are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values to excel in their chosen professions.
As the Dean, I recognize that quality enhancement is a collective responsibility. I encourage all staff, students, and stakeholders to actively engage with the IQAC’s initiatives and contribute towards building a robust framework of academic integrity and accountability. By working together, we can achieve our vision of positioning the Faculty of Health Sciences as a leader in higher education, research, and community engagement, both nationally and globally.

Chairperson’s message
It is my privilege to serve as the Chairperson of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the Faculty of Health Sciences. The IQAC plays a central role in ensuring that our faculty maintains the highest standards of academic excellence, accountability, and innovation. I firmly believe that quality assurance is a shared responsibility. The success of IQAC depends on the collective commitment of our academic staff, non-academic staff, and students, as well as the continuous support of our stakeholders. Together, we can create an environment that encourages critical thinking, research, innovation, and ethical practice.
As the Chairperson, I encourage all members of the faculty to actively engage with the initiatives of IQAC and contribute their insights and experiences. I take this opportunity to acknowledge the unwavering efforts of the IQAC members and look forward to achieving new milestones in our journey of quality enhancement
