Entry Requirements
- Advance Level (A/L) (Sri Lanka) minimum grades of 3 “S” passes for any three Science subjects: Combined Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering Technology, Science for Technology, ICT (Those who have not passed Combined Mathematics need to follow the Foundation Mathematics module concurrently with First year modules) or
- Advance Level 3D (London) with Mathematics and Physics or
- City & Guilds Technician Diploma or
- CINEC STEM Engineering Foundation Programme or
- Any other qualification equivalent to UK Level-3 acceptable to UoW
AND
English Language requirement namely,
- Minimum grade C in English at the Sri Lankan O-levels Certificate (or equivalent)
- Minimum grade S for General English paper at the Sri Lankan Advance Level Examination
- Any qualification internationally recognised as being at/equivalent to UK Level 3 or above which has been delivered and assessed in English
Exemptions
Second Year Entry:
- Direct entry into the second year (Level 5) of the BEng course may be considered for applicants possessing an appropriate HNC/HND or equivalent qualification. or
- City & Guilds Advanced Technician Diploma in relevant field

English Language requirement, as given above
