Pearson BTEC International Level 3 Extended Diploma in Applied Science
Faculty of Health Sciences has successfully initiated the Pearson BTEC International Level 3 extended qualifications in Applied Science programme designed for learners as a full-time course to support learners who want to study science-based qualifications as the main focus of a full-time study programme. The qualification would support progression to higher education in its own right. The course is equivalent in size to three International A Levels.

Entry Requirements
Entry requirements but we expect learners to have qualifications at or equivalent to Level 2. Learners are most likely to succeed if they have:
- Five International GCSEs at good grades and/or
- BTEC qualification(s) at Level 2
- Other appropriate qualifications or achievement at year 11 or age 16 in core subjects.
