CINEC Campus Establishes Key Partnerships with AIUTA and Toulouse University in France

CINEC Campus is delighted to announce the successful conclusion of a productive visit by a high-level delegation to Toulouse University in France. The delegation included Capt. Ajith Peiris, President and CEO of CINEC Campus, Mrs. Tharanga Gamage, Vice President of CINEC Campus, and Prof. (Dr.) D.A.C. Suranga Silva from the University of Colombo and Advisor to CINEC Campus.

Our representatives engaged in significant discussions with prominent figures from Toulouse University and the international academic community. These esteemed individuals included Professor François Vellas, President of the International Association of Universities of the Third Age (AIUTA), Cyrille Laporte, Dean of the Institut Supérieur du Tourisme, de l’Hôtellerie et de l’Alimentation (ISTHIA), and Laurent Barthes, Vice Dean of ISTHIA.

A pivotal outcome of these meetings is the upcoming collaboration between CINEC Campus and AIUTA. As announced by Capt. Ajith Peiris, CINEC Campus will proudly initiate cooperation with AIUTA’s Universities of the Third Age (U3As) to introduce dedicated Life Long Learning programs here in Sri Lanka. This initiative strongly underscores CINEC’s unwavering commitment to providing continuous educational opportunities for individuals across all age groups within our community.

Furthermore, CINEC Campus is poised to embark on a new and exciting partnership with Toulouse University’s ISTHIA. This collaboration will specifically focus on advancing cooperation in the vibrant field of tourism. We anticipate that this partnership will create invaluable opportunities for knowledge exchange, collaborative research, and the development of cutting-edge programs in tourism and hospitality, directly benefiting our students and professionals throughout Sri Lanka.

These strategic international alliances mark a significant step forward for CINEC Campus as we continue to expand our global network and enhance the breadth and quality of our educational offerings in critical domains such as lifelong learning and the ever-growing tourism sector. We look forward to the fruitful outcomes of these new partnerships.
