The “Regional Policy Dialogue- Transforming the Logistics Sector” in New Delhi India on 15 July 2022

Two staff members Faculty of Management and Social Sciences have been invited by the United Nations Secretariate to deliver speeches in the “Regional Policy Dialogue- Transforming the Logistics Sector” in New Delhi India on 15 July 2022.  UNESCAP sponsored for all expenses of the presenters.

This Regional Policy Dialogue aims to bring together stakeholders to facilitate capacity building from country experiences and to collect feedback from various stakeholders of the logistics industry. Following staff members delivered speeches representing  Sri Lanka and CINEC Campus.

Gender in transport: unveiling the lessons learnt

During the visit in India, we discussed with respective faculties of two top ranking universities in India on their invitation to share best practices pertaining to degree programs common to both institutes.

  1. The University of Kota is a public university in Kota, Rajasthan, India.

This university presently, has around 180+ colleges with approximately 2,30,000 students of six districts of the State, namely, Kota, Bundi, Jhalawar, Baran, Karauli, and Sawai Madhopur which are under the territorial jurisdiction of the University.

2. Mohanlal Sukhadia University (erstwhile Udaipur University) at Udaipur is a State University established by an Act in the year 1962 to cater the needs of higher education in Southern Rajasthan with more than 2.25 Lakh of Students.
