Formalizing a Strong Partnership: CINEC and Air Seychelles Renew MOU for the Fourth Consecutive Term

CINEC Campus (Pvt) Limited and Air Seychelles Limited have solidified their enduring partnership by renewing their Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the fourth consecutive two-year term. The signing ceremony took place today in Seychelles, marking a milestone in their collaborative journey.

The MOU was formally signed by Captain Sandy Benoiton, CEO of Air Seychelles, and Captain Ajith Peiris, CEO/President of CINEC, further strengthening the strategic alliance between the two organizations and is executed on 28th November 2024 onwards.

Since the inception of their partnership, CINEC and Air Seychelles have worked together to advance aviation training and professional development. This collaboration has fostered innovation and excellence in aviation education and services, benefiting both organizations and the broader aviation community.

Under the renewed MOU, the partnership will continue to focus on:

  • Providing on-the-job training for CINEC students pursuing Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, facilitated at Air Seychelles’ EASA-approved Part 145 Maintenance Organization.
  • Delivering in-house and online training courses for Air Seychelles employees, leveraging CINEC’s expertise in aviation education.
  • Offering specialized training programs at CINEC’s state-of-the-art facilities for Air Seychelles staff.
  • Collaborating on the development and review of training programs, ensuring they align with evolving industry requirements.
  • Promoting Air Seychelles as a key partner of CINEC, strengthening the airline’s presence in the global aviation education sector.

CINEC, is a certified training academy under the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL). Holding the prestigious Certificate Approval No. CAASL.IS.147.101 . CINEC specializes in ab-initio training for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. This includes Category B1.1 Aeroplane Turbine license training. Additionally, CINEC offers a range of IATA-approved training programs, including:

  • IATA Airline Cabin Crew Training
  • IATA Airline Customer Service
  • IATA Passenger Ground Services
  • IATA Cargo Introductory Course
